Glasgow Consulting Group to drive intelligence at Automechanika Dubai
Tomorrow the region’s largest trade show for the automotive aftermarket industry kicks-off, with Glasgow Consulting Group to take centre stage during the event as one of the exclusive knowledge partners.
Now in its 18th edition, Automechanika Dubai is expected to welcome more than 30,000 trade visitors from over 100 countries, making the event the largest international automotive aftermarket trade show in the Middle East. At the three-day event in Dubai, over 1,800 exhibitors from across the globe will showcase their latest products, services and innovations to traders from across the region.
The event will also provide visitors with the latest insights and trends in the automotive aftermarket industry, which according to recent research commissioned by Automechanika Dubai is set to break the $700 mark billion by 2025.
Driving the thought leadership agenda are a group of four knowledge partners, including Glasgow Consulting Group, a boutique consultancy that among others specialises in strategic research to the automotive space. The role will see the consulting firm provide research insights to many of the event’s workstreams, and see company founder Vishal Pandey deliver three keynotes.
The fist keynote will focus on the passenger car component aftermarket outlook for the UAE and Saudi Arabia, with another keynote zooming in on the segment’s outlook for key African countries (which are often overseen by Middle East players). Meanwhile, Pandey’s third keynote will explore the rapidly changing passenger car service ecosystem in the UAE, as part of wider mobility trends in the region.
Glasgow Consulting Group also leads the so-called Automotive Intelligence & Tracking Hub initiative at Automechanika Dubai. “In the track, we provide regional market intelligence, thought leadership and insights to clients in the Middle East and Africa region, which helps them identify the mega tends shaping areas of the mobility landscape,” explained Pandey.
Other knowledge partners of the event are Frost & Sullivan, GfK and TechSci Research.
