Compass Project Consulting agrees alliance with Dar Al Arkan

Middle East project management consultancy Compass has agreed a partnership with Dar Al Arkan, Saudi Arabia’s largest real estate development company.

As part of the partnership, the two companies will exchange expertise, knowledge and resources to build “one of the most progressive real estate development consultancies” in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf Cooperation Council, according to a joint press release by the two firms.

Headquartered in Riyadh, Dar Al Arkan is a real estate development company that serves both the residential and commercial segments. Since its inception in 1994, the listed Saudi company has delivered 15,000 residential units and over 500,000 square metres of commercial space.

Dubai-based Compass is an 80-strong consulting firm specialised in the delivery of construction and real estate projects. The award-winning group operates with four offices in the region (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh and Jeddah).

As part of the agreement, Dar Al Arkan will support Compass with business development, procurement, and delivery expertise. Vice versa, Compass will add advisory and implementation expertise to Dar Al Arkan’s consulting portfolio.

“This strategic partnership will allow both parties to work together across the region, end-to-end, bringing in high return on equity and attracting top line projects,” explained Nawfal Khudairy, the Chairman of Compass.

Luke Somerville, Managing Director of the consultancy, added: “Dar Al Arkan is one of the region’s most influential and innovative developers. Working with them will bolster our services, sectors and coverage, and further amplify our next growth chapter.”
