Brahim Laaidi, Raja Atoui and Wissam Yassine partner at Bain
Global strategy consulting firm Bain & Company has promoted three Middle East based company members to partner.
The trio of new partners have been admitted into Bain’s partnership following a strong year for the consulting firm, with Global Managing Partner Manny Maceda late last year unveiling that the firm has achieved another strong year of growth, despite the continued disruption caused by the pandemic.
Across its 63 offices in 38 countries, Bain & Company promoted a total of 78 individuals to the leadership positions of partner and expert partner, including Brahim Laaidi, Raja Atoui, and Wissam Yassine – all of who are based in the firm’s Dubai office.
Brahim Laaidi has been with Bain since the start of 2019, focused on enterprise technology and digital transformation offerings. Prior to joining Bain, he worked as an independent consultant based in Dubai, and earlier spent over a decade at Accenture and French telecom giant Orange in Brussels.
His track record includes supporting clients on IT strategy, operating model, advanced analytics and digital transformation in several industries, including financial services, public sector, and retail.
Raja Atoui joined Bain in the summer of 2015, having previously served rival Kearney for close to five years. The American University of Beirut graduate is a member of the Energy & Natural Resources and Sustainability & Responsibility practices.
He has led engagements across energy, utilities, manufacturing, and real estate sectors, and has advised clients on a range of topics including growth strategies, operating model, organisation design, and sustainability.
Another Lebanese national, Wissam Yassine commenced his career in the sustainability department of BIC Contracting, one of the larger infrastructure engineering groups in the Middle East.
He joined Bain in 2014, and has since specialised in advising private sector and government entities across the GCC on a range of topics including socioeconomic development, sustainable development, corporate responsibility, human capital development and education.
Yassine is also passionate about the non-profit sector and advised foundations in the GCC region on strategy, impact maximisation and funding models.
'They embody the best of Bain'
Tom De Waele, Managing Partner at Bain & Company in the Middle East said: “We continue to invest behind the growth of our business in the Middle East and I am really proud to welcome our next generation of leaders to our partnership.”
“These three new partners each embody the very best of Bain, and bring deep expertise in their respective industry and capability areas and many years of experience serving some of our flagship clients across the region and coaching and developing our teams.”
“I am confident they will continue to thrive in their new roles, and wish them a fantastic future ahead.”
