Booz Allen's Nans Mathieu joins Oliver Wyman as a partner
Oliver Wyman has bolstered its Public Sector and Policy practice in the Middle East with Nans Mathieu, who joins the firm as a partner.
Nans Mathieu brings around 20 years of consulting experience advising governments and major corporations in Europe and the Middle East to the global consulting firm.
At Oliver Wyman, Mathieu advises states and policymakers within governments on topics including public strategy, policy development, organisation design, fiscal alignment, and operational excellence.
Accustomed to change, Mathieu’s professional career has over the past two decades taken him through Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. The past five he worked for Booz Allen Hamilton as a Senior Vice President and head of the public sector practice in the MENA region, based out of Lebanon and the United Arab Emirates.
Before that, he held two roles in industry (Deputy CEO at investment group FB Green and Director of Business Development at M1 Group), and served Booz & Company for seven years (he departed the firm shortly after it was acquired by PwC).
Earlier, he spent nearly five years in France with EY (in its Transaction Advisory Services division) and BearingPoint.
Nans Mathieu holds an MBA from INSEAD and graduated in electromechanical engineering from École Spéciale des Travaux Publics in Paris.
Reflecting on his new role, Mathieu said: “I believe that we are in the business of changing lives. At Oliver Wyman, we work to make our region a better place to live in.” Meanwhile, the firm also “collectively strives to make Oliver Wyman a workplace that values trust and supports the ambitions of current and aspiring colleagues.”
