Protiviti deepens procurement offering with sourcing solution
Protiviti has deepened its procurement capabilities in the Middle East with the addition of RheinBrucke’s sourcing solution to its service offering.
In the procurement space, Protiviti helps its clients with the full cycle of services from sourcing and spend analysis, to improving processes such as supplier and contract management, and system implementation.
Through a new partnership with RheinBrucke, an international IT consulting and solutions firm focused on the SME market, Protiviti now bolsters its sourcing proposition with MeRLIN, a solution on the Microsoft-stack that brings together the needs of buyers and suppliers through an automation platform.
As part of the alliance, Protiviti has become a strategic advisor and implementation partner of MeRLIN (Material eResource Linked Information Network) in the Middle East market. In addition, the global consulting firm will also serve as a cloud integration partner for MeRLIN.
Used by dozens of organisations worldwide, MeRLIN helps clients digitise their sourcing process, with integration to supplier relationship management and planning functions. Through automation, big data utilisation and the use of analytical tools, buyers can streamline and optimise their sourcing, deliver savings, improve collaboration with suppliers, and increase agility through enhanced transparency.
MeRLIN, which recently was lauded by Gartner as a ‘notable vendor’ in the procurement solutions space, supports both direct and indirect procurement processes.
Arindam De, Deputy CEO and Managing Director of Protiviti in the Middle East, said: “Our partnership with RheinBrucke supports our endeavour to bring innovative solutions to our clients, aligning to their business requirements and keeping pace with the technological disruptions in the region. Together, we share a commitment to helping enterprises streamline and optimise their purchasing processes through strategic sourcing and e-procurement.”
Meanwhile, for RheinBrucke, the partnership will see the German-origin company gain access to Protiviti’s network of clients in the Middle East. With offices in Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE, Protiviti’s is one of the region leading consulting firms, according to the Top consulting firms in the Middle East 2022 ranking.
Welcoming the partnership with the firm, H.E. Mohamad Hassan Abdullah Alnoman, Chairman of RheinBrucke in the Middle East, said: “This partnership will provide value to businesses and ensure agile procurement operations, as well as reduced technology costs.”
