PwC’s Middle East member firm has welcomed six new partners in its Deals practice.

“A congratulations on this incredible career milestone,” said Antoine Abou Mansour, a Riyadh-based partner and 25-year company veteran who leads PwC’s Deals practice in the region. 

“Our new partners bring deep deals capabilities from strategy through execution, across sectors covering government & public sector, healthcare, life sciences, education, real estate, infrastructure & capital projects and financial services.”

Jad Barakat

Has been with PwC since: 2015 (ex-KPMG)

Sion Rhys

Located in: UAE
Has been with PwC since: 2008 (relocated from PwC’s UK team in 2017)

Yazan Al Shouly

Has been with PwC since: 2020 (ex-Deloitte)

While all six partners are male, Abou Mansour took to LinkedIn to highlight that PwC is actively supporting initiatives that support the advancement of female talent within the Deals practice. “This includes our Deals Female Director sponsorship programme. which is designed to support our female Directors in growing as leaders by having sponsoring partners provide guidance on personal and professional development and upcoming growth opportunities.” 

PwC’s Deals practice provides guidance in such areas as corporate finance, acquisitions, divestitures, private equity investments, initial public offerings, and restructuring & business recovery.
