Four Principles hits milestone with partner promotion of Mehdi Chelhi

Four Principles has promoted Mehdi Chelhi to partner. He becomes the first partner to join co-founders and managing partners Seif Shieshakly and Patrick Wiebusch at the company’s helm.

Commenting on the milestone for the lean consultancy, Shieshakly said, “This is the first time we are appointing a team member to a partner role since our founding twelve years ago. We could not have been prouder to see Mehdi achieve this milestone both for himself and the firm.”

Chelhi has been with Four Principles since 2015, and has over the years played an instrumental role in the firm’s growth in Saudi Arabia’s public sector.

“Mehdi lives and breathes the values of Four Principles, he is the embodiment of our vision of an ideal lean digital transformation consultant, that relentlessly strives to deliver value to his clients, teams, and colleagues,” said Wiebusch.

In his new role, Chelhi will continue to focus on lean and digital-focused operational excellence transformation projects in Saudi Arabia.

The crown on his professional career to date, Chelhi started working life at CSC Peat Marwick’s consulting business unit in Paris after graduating from HEC Paris. He then crossed to DXC Technology in Paris, where he focused on digital transformation projects for three years before moving to the Middle East and settling in with Four Principles.

Chelhi has served clients in range of sectors, from banking and telecoms to manufacturing, utilities and government. In Saudi Arabia, his track record includes helping clients realise productivity improvements “worth hundreds of millions of US Dollars, while at the same time improving quality, lead time and costs,” according to his profile on Four Principles’ website.

In ConsultancyME’s recently released Top consulting firms in the Middle East 2022 ranking, Four Principles (around 30 staff) was named one of the region’s top consulting firms for lean services.
