Khaleej Digital helps LG refresh its online channels for Iraq

LG Electronics has refreshed its online footprint for Iraqi customers, with the revamped website developed in conjunction with Khaleej Digital.

With a sales base in every country in the Middle East, LG Electronics is one of the region’s (and globe’s) largest providers of electronic products in segments such as television and home entertainment, kitchen, laundry, computers, air conditioning, and solar.

In a bid to better serve its Iraqi customers – businesses as well as individuals – through its online channels, LG Electronics has redesigned its local website and refreshed its online branding and content.

Showcasing the broad range of LG’s products, while enabling existing customers easy access to customer support, the new website was built with the customer in mind, and has been optimised for use across laptop, tablet and mobile channels.

The revamp comes at a timely moment for LG Electronics. According to data sourced from Statista, Iraq’s ecommerce market is booming, and is expected to grow by an average of 17% per annum in the coming three years as market penetration of the total online user base grows from the current 46% of the population to 50% in 2025. Meanwhile, average spending per user is also forecasted to increase.

The project builds on a long-standing relationship between the two companies. Khaleej Digital is one of LG Electronics’ preferred partners for digital consulting and agency work, and has in this capacity designed and delivered multiple websites in the region for the South Korean giant.
