Monstarlab appoints Paul Klinkhamer as senior vice president
Global digital transformation consultancy Monstarlab has appointed Dubai-based company member Paul Klinkhamer as senior vice president.
Established in 2006, Monstarlab is digital consultancy that positions itself as an end-to-end player, providing services from strategy and design through to digital engineering and technology implementation. The Tokyo-headquartered firm has over 1,600 staff across offices in 20 countries.
In his new role, Klinkhamer has been tasked with developing and expanding Monstarlab’s strategy and management consulting offering across five key international markets outside of home base Japan.
“Monstarlab’s goal is to become the top-of-mind digital consultancy and transformation partner,” said CEO Hiroki Inagawa. “Paul will harness the expertise and experiences of Monstarlab in the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Singapore and China to unleash Monstarlab’s full potential in unlocking value for clients across the region.”
A consultant by background, Klinkhamer has been Monstarlab since April last year, when he joined the Japanese-headquartered group from Metyis, where he was a partner in its Middle East operation. Prior to that the Dutchman was Managing Partner of homegrown consultancy Vecta Strategy (which merged into Metyis) and led the Middle East business of Huron (an American consultancy).
Earlier, Klinkhamer served global groups Accenture and KPMG, and spent nine years in industry (although in an internal advisory role).
During his career, Klinkhamer gained extensive experience in strategy, growth, business transformation & execution, performance improvement, and analytics & data, serving clients in sectors such as aviation, banking, media, and telecommunications.
Following his arrival at Monstarlab, Klinkhamer worked on a number of high-profile engagements, helped progress the consulting business, and co-facilitated the acquisition of Pioneers Consulting, a Saudi-headquartered design and management consultancy with around 20 staff.
“Paul is a people-person who nurtures those he works with into a level of excellence. Furthermore, with his large global network of talent and partners, and an excellent track record, I’m sure he will be a significant contributor to Monstarlab’s further growth ambition,” said Inagawa.
