BrazilCapital Consulting International promotes Stuart Baird to global role
Capital Consulting International (CCi) has promoted Stuart Baird to Vice President of Business Development for the firm’s international client base across Europe, the Americas, the Middle East and Asia Pacific.
Having joined Capital Consulting International in May last year, based out of Dubai, Baird previously served as Managing Director for the Middle East and Asia regions, with a focus on key markets including the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Malaysia.
Commenting on the appointment, Dave Webster, Group Managing Director of Capital Consulting International, said: “As our company grows it is apparent that we need to evolve the way we develop business. We are now a global organisation, and Stuart will ensure we have a consistent, continuous business development approach with our clients across the regions.”
Founded in 1998, Capital Consulting International supports clients in the insurance and construction sectors with three lines of business: delay, quantum and technical project consultancy.

Baird brings more than two decades of experience to the position. He previously spent seven years at Drivers Trett (latterly as Regional Operational Director for the Middle East & Africa) and before that four years at Hill International in Malaysia (where he was Country Manager) and Dubai, among others.
During this period, Baird gained extensive experience in quantity surveying, contract management and dispute resolution services to a variety of clients including government ministries, project owners and major contractors. He has worked on many iconic projects throughout Europe, Africa, Middle East, and Asia Pacific covering a range of sectors including infrastructure, industrial, transportation, energy, utilities, and commercial buildings.
Baird holds two Master titles, and is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, a Member of the Chartered Institute of Building, and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
