Egis provides consultancy services to GV Group's hospitality portfolio

Global engineering consultancy Egis has entered into a consortium agreement with GV Group, an Egyptian real estate investor and developer.

The agreement will see Egis – and its tourism-focused subsidiary Voltere by Egis – provide a range of consultancy services to GV Group – specifically for its hospitality portfolio, which encompasses various projects related to hotels, tourism, and leisure.

Headquartered in Cairo, GV Group is a conglomerate that own 14 companies operating in 3 investment sectors. The group is best known for its role in the Tarboul Industrial City project and the expansion of the Suez Canal in Port Said, but also has a large presence in the hospitality landscape.

Egis provides consultancy services to GV Group's hospitality portfolio

The hospitality portfolio includes 5-star hotel in Mount Cairo, multiple hotels in tourist destination Hurghada, and El Sayadeen Village in Nuweiba, among others.

As part of the agreement, Egis will provide a range of consultancy services aimed at enhancing, expanding, and renovating the hospitality projects within GV Group’s portfolio. This includes working on luxury hotels, serviced apartments, sports and retail venues, as well as historical tourist attractions. The goal is to elevate the quality and standards of these installations, ensuring they meet the needs and expectations of visitors.

Through this collaboration, Egis and GV Group aim to bring their combined expertise and experience to deliver outstanding hospitality experiences and contribute to the growth and development of the tourism industry in Egypt.

Egis is also set to provide comprehensive commercial and technical services to GV Group’s future development efforts.

Egis has worked in Egypt since 2001 and has completed several key projects across multiple sectors including rail, water structures, energy, aviation, and building projects as well as urban and mobility projects. Currently, Egis is working on Cairo Metro Line 2,3 and 6, the Alexandria Raml Tram, Cairo Festival City – Aura & Living Stream 3, Porto New Cairo and more.
