Saudi communications consultancy Jummar joins global network PROI
Saudi communications consultancy Jummar has joined the network of PROI Worldwide, a global consortium of like-minded counterparts with a presence in over 60 countries.
Founded in 2021 by Ibrahim Al-Mutawa, a former Vice President at ASDA'A (part of global player Burson Cohn & Wolfe), Riyadh-based Jummar supports clients with corporate communications, public relations, and media engagement.
“Joining PROI Worldwide provides an excellent opportunity for us to access its deep network of independent communications firms and help many of our clients who are seeking to expand into other international markets,” said Al-Mutawa, who leads the firm as managing partner.
Jummar works for clients across sectors, including financial services, real estate, aviation, education, media, energy, e-commerce, and entertainment. Many of its clients are expanding into new markets, both within the Middle East and beyond.
Levaraging PROI Worldwide’s footprint, Jummar can now offer a seamless cross-border experience, with fellow PROI Worldwide members providing on the ground support in extension of Jummar’s offering.
“We are looking forward to sharing our knowledge of the Saudi Arabian market and working closely with PROI Worldwide’s highly regarded group of professionals,” said Al-Mutawa.
The relationship will also work in the opposite direction, with international member firms passing on engagements opportunities to Jummar’s team in Saudi Arabia – currently one of the fastest growing economies in the world amid a global growth slump in Western economies.
Headquartered in Chicago, PROI Worldwide (which stands for ‘Public Relations Organisation International’) has over 90 members in 165 cities. Combined, member firms generate more than $1.1 billion in revenues.
Welcoming the Saudi firm to the network, hot on the heels of a new member in India (Delhi-based First Partners), PROI Worldwide Chair Jeff Lambert said: “Jummar brings an extensive understanding of the local culture and social/economic context in Saudi Arabia that will greatly benefit our clients and partners. They are an excellent addition to our diverse, global network.”
