Alba Partners appoints Nazam Majid as Middle East managing director

Alba Partners has welcomed a senior leader to its team in the Middle East, appointing Nazam Majid as Managing Director of its Middle East practice.

Operating with offices in London and Dubai, Alba Partners is a management consultancy specialised in the delivery of transformation and change. Founded in 2020, the firm currently has over 40 consultants and staff working for clients across sectors, including financial services, retail, oil & gas, and travel.

Hired from Accenture, Nazam Majid has been brought on board by company co-founders Carol Jacobs and Richard Jacobs to spearhead the firm’s further growth plans in the Middle East.

From its base in Dubai, Alba Partners works for clients across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

Majid brings over 20 years of experience in the consulting industry to the firm, all gained at global player Accenture in the UK and UAE. Based in the region since 2014, he worked as a management consultant and account leader across travel and tourism industry clients including travel companies, airlines, and airports. Majid also gained extensive experience in the retail, energy, and oil & gas sectors.

Last year, Alba Partners put weight to its corporate social responsibility ambitions by becoming a signatory of the United Nations Global Compact initiative, the world's largest corporate sustainability and social responsibility initiative. The commitment is part of the firm’s objective to become a net zero business by 2025.
