Ahmad Yousry Elbeheiry joins Aleph Hospitality as director

After close to a decade in the hotel consulting scene, Ahmad Yousry Elbeheiry has crossed to industry. At Dubai-based Aleph Hospitality, he has been appointed as Director of Development.

Ahmad Yousry Elbeheiry brings 17 years of experience in hospitality and consulting to his new role, having gained extensive experience in topics including commercial property valuation, hotel operations, real estate development, contract negotiation, property management, budgeting, and market analysis.

In his new role, he has been tasked with growing the hotel management portfolio of Aleph Hospitality in the Middle East and Africa, which includes the La Maison Hotel Doha in Qatar and 10+ hotels in Africa countries such as Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, and Uganda.

Adding to its portfolio, Aleph Hospitality projects slated for launch in the coming period comprise The Pelican Hotel Apartments, a 134-room site heading to Ghana’s capital, Accra, and the 70-key Kertel Suites planned in Congo’s capital, Kinshasa.

Among others projects bring worked on are: Four Points by Sheraton Monrovia, a 111-key site opening in Q4 2023 in Liberia, and a double development arriving in the Rwandan capital in Q1 2025 in the form of the 200-room MGallery Kigali and the 58-room Century Park Hotel and Residences Kigali.

Elbeheiry will be in charge for nurturing relationships with existing partners. He also will seek to source new projects with a primary focus on Egypt and Saudi Arabia to support the growing demand for independent hotel management in these countries.

Prior to joining the hotel management company, Elbeheiry was an Associate Director at HVS, a hospitality consultancy. Before that, he worked on the real estate side of consulting, at Colliers and JLL.

Ahmad Yousry Elbeheiry holds a bachelor’s degree in hospitality and hotels management from IMI in Egypt and a management certificate in business administration and management from the American University in Cairo.
