Business Family House appoints industry expert Maura McAdam

Saudi-based Business Family House has expanded its network of affiliated partners with Maura McAdam, an internationally recognised scholar and expert in the area of family entrepreneurship and businesses.

Based in Dublin, professor Maura McAdam is an expert in entrepreneurship and family business and has published many journal articles, book chapters and books on family business and entrepreneurship.

Brought up in a family business in Ireland, she is currently a Professor of Management and Director of Entrepreneurship at Dublin City University and Advisory Board member of the university’s National Centre of Family Business.

McAdam has extensive expertise in family business operations and succession, high technology business incubation, and the influence of gender upon women’s entrepreneurship. According to data from Stanford University, she belongs to the top 2% most-cited scientists in the world.

In her work as an executive consultant, McAdam helps entrepreneurs, family businesses, corporates, government organisations with their strategic decision-making. She is also a mentor and coach to many entrepreneurs and next generation family business leaders.

McAdam joins a growing list of industry experts that have affiliated with the Jeddah-based specialist consultancy. Business Family House was founded in 2021 by Lama Alsulaiman, who over the course of her built an extensive track record in management and corporate governance through executive roles in business and government. She holds a PhD from King’s College London in the United Kingdom.
