Daymion Jenkins joins WSP's Middle East advisory business
Global professional services group WSP has welcomed Daymion Jenkins to its Advisory Services business in the region.
Based in UAE, Jenkins has been appointed a Director in the Earth & Environment practice, one of the services lines of WSP’s consulting wing. Jenkins relocates from WSP’s British organisation, where he spent the past eight years holding leadership roles in the same practice.
“I’m very excited to be joining WSP in the Middle East at such a pivotal evolution in the Earth & Environment practice and I am looking forward to supporting the team across the region, leveraging my links with WSP’s global environmental networks to support local delivery,” said Jenkins on his move from London to Dubai.
With over 68,000 staff across five continents, WSP is one of the globe’s largest engineering and consulting firms for the built environment. In the Middle East, the firm has around 2,300 people in 8 offices.
“Daymion brings decades of international leadership experience and technical expertise to our Earth & Environment team in the Middle East. I am confident that he will be instrumental in our continued drive for growth, with a particular focus on launching new services in our core markets, Saudi Arabia and the UAE,” said Kathleen McGrail, Managing Director in the Advisory Services division.
In the United Kingdom, Jenkins most recently led a large team working across a range of geoscience and environment management sectors. Prior to his time at WSP, he was a partner at sustainability consultancy ERM, worked for AECOM, and served WSP in his first eight-year spell at the Canadian-origin group.
May Faraj, Senior Director in WSP’s Earth & Environment practice, said: “I’m thrilled to have Daymion join our team, as he brings a unique blend of global experience to complement our regional practice. His expertise perfectly aligns with our growth goals. He will build on our reputation of delivering multidisciplinary, integrated solutions that meet our clients’ needs, and drive positive outcomes.”
