Oliver Wyman appoints 8 partners and executive directors in Middle East
Global strategy and management consulting firm Oliver Wyman has promoted 8 company members to Partner and Executive Director in the Middle East.
Traditionally kicking off promotion season in the strategy segment (most peers follow suit in December with their announcements), Oliver Wyman has per the 1st of January 2024 rewarded the efforts of hundreds of consultants across its 70+ offices worldwide.
For the 59 professionals that have been promoted to Partner or Executive Director level, the step up is impactful – they become part of Oliver Wyman’s leadership team, with some of them also holding equity in the privately-held firm.
In the Middle East, Oliver Wyman has appointed 6 new Partners and 2 new Executive Directors:
Karim Al-Sayeh
Role: Partner, Transportation and Services
Karim joined Oliver Wyman's Dubai office in 2019. Prior to joining, he worked in strategy consulting (at McKinsey & Company) and engineering (at Bechtel) in the Middle East and the United States.
Since joining, Karim's work has focused on expanding the firm’s footprint in the aviation sector, with a particular focus on airlines and airports.
Saad Demehati
Role: Partner, Public Sector
Saad joined Oliver Wyman in 2013 in Oliver Wyman’s Paris office before transferring to the Dubai office. He focuses on advising governments and public finance institutions on a wide variety of topics, including strategy, policy, and large-scale transformation programs.
Marwan El Haddad
Role: Partner, Public Sector
Marwan joined Oliver Wyman in the Abu Dhabi office in 2022 through the firm’s acquisition of Booz Allen Hamilton’s MENA management consulting business. He has two decades of professional and consulting experience across Europe and the Middle East.
Marwan’s focus is on public sector excellence, where he advises centers of government, ministries, and semi-governmental entities on their transformations and helps them achieve augmented delivery and execution capabilities through focused strategic planning and enhanced superstructures and governance models.
Dmitrii Grishin
Role: Partner, Financial Services
Dmitrii joined Oliver Wyman in July 2012 as an intern in the Moscow office and transferred to the Middle East in 2015. He focuses on advising ministries and government authorities on a broad range of fiscal topics, including budgeting, spend efficiency, and tax, among others.
Jad Moussalli
Role: Partner, Energy and Natural Resources
Jad joined Oliver Wyman's office in Dubai in 2021. Before joining Oliver Wyman, he worked in strategy consulting (at Strategy&) and in the oil & gas industry (at Petrofac).
Jad focuses on engagements in the oil & gas, chemicals, and new energy sectors, where he supports clients on various strategic topics such as sector strategies development, value chain localization and investment attraction and execution.
Sharad Sinha
Role: Partner, Energy and Natural Resources
Sharad joined Oliver Wyman in its Abu Dhabi office in 2022, through the firm’s acquisition of Booz Allen Hamilton’s MENA management consulting business. He works in the Climate and Sustainability practice, helping several government entities and ministries to strategize and execute large-scale transformational programs and build national resilience to climate change.
Prior to kickstarting his consulting career, Sharad worked in oil & gas operations at Schlumberger, working across India and Angola.
Lyndsay Anderson
Role: Executive Director and IMEA Regional COO
Lyndsay joined Oliver Wyman 17 years ago with the acquisition of DiamondCluster. She began her career at Oliver Wyman based in Dubai, where she led Human Capital Operations for Iberia, Southeast Europe, and the Middle East.
Lyndsay played a leading role in opening many Oliver Wyman offices across the IMEA region, as well as in the growth and strengthening of the IMEA team. In 2020, she assumed the Regional COO position for IMEA and led the expansion of both operations and support services in line with the fast-growing business in the region.
Isabell Stobwasser
Role: Executive Director of Talent IMEA
Isabell joined Oliver Wyman in September 2011 in the Dubai office and has accompanied the growth of the IMEA region ever since, with a focus on talent and people.
Prior to joining Oliver Wyman, Isabell worked as a management consultant for several years. She now leads the Talent Function for IMEA, working across diverse markets on all talent-related topics, including recruiting, people development, performance management, value proposition, and talent management.
