Global technology and electronics giant Samsung is teaming up with Saudi Arabia’s largest IT services company, solutions by stc, with the aim of exploring new and joint business opportunities in Saudi Arabia.
Best known for its smartphones and other electronic gadgets, Samsung is also a powerhouse in the world of technology and telecommunications.
The company’s business solutions division offers tailored solutions to organisations across a range of sectors, including remote work solutions, fleet management technology in the transport sector, payments solutions for retail, internet of things solutions for clients in asset-heavy sectors, cloud services for guests in hospitality, and much more.
The cooperation with solutions by stc seeks to give Samsung a larger foot in the ground in Saudi Arabia’s business landscape. “This step confirms Samsung’s commitment to providing the latest technologies and innovative solutions to organisations in Saudi Arabia. Together, we aim to discover more promising business opportunities and partner in strategic projects which contribute to achieving the Kingdom’s future,” said Hyung Bin Ji, General Manager of Samsung in Saudi Arabia.
With over 1,500 staff serving 24,000 clients across Saudi Arabia, solutions by stc is the country’s largest IT services provider in size. Last week, the Riyadh-headquartered company was named one of the leading ICT consulting firms in the Middle East by Consultancy.org.
