Aspiring management consultants at all stages of their careers in Saudi Arabia will have the opportunity to learn from industry experts with the next round of the Mustashar program now open for registration.
Industry platform Navital Global has wrapped up its latest career development program for aspiring management consultants in Saudi Arabia.
The Mustashar Accelerator, delivered in collaboration with leading local and international consultancies AlixPartners, Four Principles, Pure Consulting and Makeen, introduces participants to the foundations of management consulting and helps them to kick-start a career in the sector.
Launched earlier this year, the accelerator recently graduated its third cohort of consulting hopefuls, with registration now open for the next cycle beginning in early-to-mid February. The course is held online over two two-day blocks, and is designed for future graduates, early career professionals, and experienced executives looking to enter what continues to be one of the Kingdom’s fastest-growing and most critical sectors.
With guidance from industry experts drawn from the top-tier firms, students are first introduced to the world of management consulting before then developing their problem-solving toolkit and participating in group exercises and peer coaching. The highly interactive program concludes with a formal assessment and preparation for potential roles through mock interviews, with graduates receiving a digital certificate upon completion.
The course has been developed by Navital Global co-founder and managing director Annas Abedin, a former engagement manager with McKinsey & Company who previously co-founded independent consultant network Makeen Advisors and the esteemed Qimam Fellowship. Bringing their own unique perspectives and insights are a range of regarded industry professionals, recruitment executives, and other government and business leaders.
As just a small sample of the calibre of expertise, the most recent round of of instructors and guest speakers included AlixPartners vice president Francesco Buzzi; Pure Consulting co-founders Khalid Shakhshir and Anas Al-Safi; Horváth managing consultant Lars Mattisand; Arthur D. Little senior analyst Obeid Alkethami; Oliver Wyman consultant Abdulrahman Alsalem; and Adrian Castillero Franco of Boston Consulting Group.
In addition to the invaluable networking opportunities, Mustashar graduates can also choose to join a placement program. One recent participant stated; “I’m so grateful to the guest speakers for their guidance, insights, and for sharing their inspiring journeys. We met with various consultants, ex-consultants, and CEOs, and learned about critical skills in consultancy, including problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management.”
