Mark Cameron joins HKA as principal in project advisory team
Global consulting firm HKA has strengthened its project advisory team with senior hire Mark Cameron, who joins as a Principal in Qatar.
Mark Cameron brings over thirty years of experience in the consulting and projects landscape to HKA, having served large engineering groups, project management consultancies, and Big Four firms.
Originally from the United Kingdom, Cameron has been based in the Middle East for the past seven years, with his experience stretching across the region spanning a total of sixteen years.
Prior to joining HKA, Cameron was a Senior Programme Manager at Qatar’s Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy, which was responsible for the delivery of the required infrastructure for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Before that, he spent over a decade at PwC and KPMG, where he held senior roles in their respective major project advisory practices.
Earlier, Cameron spent over eight years at Turner & Townsend across multiple spells, and worked at construction engineering specialist Systech, among others.
With a focus on the infrastructure and real estate sectors, Cameron is specialised in strategy, programme delivery, commercial and financial fields. Furthermore, he has extensive involvement in managing senior stakeholders in both government and private sector roles.
Now at HKA, Cameron work closely with the senior team to strengthen its regional advisory service offering. “I am very excited to start this new phase of my career and to be part of HKA’s growing advisory service line in the EMEA region. I look forward to working with globally recognised experts who consistently deliver meaningful business improvements for our clients,” he said.
