Riyadh-based management consulting firm GGC has been named a top employer in Saudi Arabia – a milestone that comes hot on the heels of its refreshed brand launch.

Established in 2016, GGC has since its inception grown into a leading consulting firm specialised in topics including strategic transformation, performance management, sales and commercial excellence, quality assurance, and innovation.

Building on a high employee satisfaction rate, and a number of other workplace factors gauged in a poll among staff, GGC has been handed the ‘Best Workplace in Saudi Arabia’ certificate by Great Place to Work, a global organization that independently assesses workplaces and certifies those that meet the very highest standards.

GGC celebrates top employer recognition amid fresh rebrand

One of just 80 or so organizations in Saudi Arabia that have been handed the top employer seal, GGC owes its certification to an “outstandingly high employee satisfaction rate, its strong emphasis on employee development through diverse career paths, and market-leading focus on professional development through formal and informal trainings,” stated Great Place to Work in its jury report.

Notably, GGC was recognised for applying a holistic approach in its employee value proposition, enabling the firm to ensure its staff excel in their job (working on consulting projects at clients) while ensuring a collaborative and vibrant work environment.

Operating globally, Great Place to Work is one of the most trusted research institutes on workplace culture. Since 1992, the company has surveyed more than 100 million employees in 60+ countries around the world.

“As a firm that is built around the belief that people are our most important asset, GGC is proud to have been recognized as a best practice workplace,” said Malek Ghazo, a leader at GGC. “This certification demonstrates our commitment to providing an environment that fosters growth, innovation, and a deep sense of value.”

The certification sees GGC join an elite club of workplaces in the Kingdom, including Chalhoub Group, PepsiCo, Hilton, DHL, TAM, Abdul Latif Jameel Enterprises, Deloitte, Saudi Industrial Development Fund, Dar Al Riyadh, and Masdar.

New look and feel

The milestone comes on the back of another one: earlier this month, GGC launched an overhaul of its visual identity. “Our new, fresh and authentic look is a testament to our unwavering dedication to innovation and our comprehensive suite of integrated services,” Ghazo explained.

The firm’s logo has been handed a different font, with more bold accent placed on the GCC brand. “The distinctive and bold logo commands attention in marketing materials and events, ensuring clients are immersed in a vibrant and easily recognizable brand experience. The incorporation of upward-pointing arrows in the logo signifies progress and collaboration, underscoring the firm’s mission to forge ahead collectively with clients, partners, and the community.”

Sticking to its heritage green color, GCC has however shifted to a lighter shade. “Our color symbolizes our unwavering commitment to green values, embodying attributes such as generosity, growth, and sustainability. It represents not only the firm’s steadfast dedication but also its pride in its green roots as an integral part of Saudi Arabia,” Ghazo said.
