UN!Que Project Solutions appoints Steven Batchelor and Damien Keane

Homegrown project management consultancy UN!Que Project Solutions has kicked off life under its fresh brand with the hire of two new leaders.

Headquartered in the UAE, UN!Que Project Solutions provides a range of services to projects in the built environment, spanning consulting, project delivery, contract management, and quantity surveying. The firm’s 80+ team works for a portfolio of clients that includes Emaar, Wasl, Damac, and Dubai Health Authority.

With the aim to further expand its operations, UN!Que Project Solutions has strengthened its management team with the experienced duo Steven Batchelor and Damien Keane.

Steven Batchelor has been appointed as managing director for the entire business. He brings over 25 years of experience with tier-one consultancies including Faithful+Gould and more recently Compass Project Consulting (part of Dar Al Arkan).

“I’m honoured to be charged with steering this fabulous team on their evolutionary journey to becoming a true best-in-class construction project solutions provider,” Batchelor said.

Appointed country director for Saudi Arabia, Damien Keane will meanwhile take charge of the company’s growth across the Kingdom. He also joined from Compass Project Consulting, where he spent five years, having previously served Colliers and Linesight, among others.

“I really regard this as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for myself,” said Keane. “To be given the ‘carte blanche’ remit of evolving an established business to the next level in Saudi Arabia. The opportunity to expand our offering, both in terms of sectors and services coupled with expanding client base, is something I’m really looking forward to.”

Commenting on the appointments, company founder and chairwoman Sinimol Noushad said: “With the many exciting projects we see across the region spreading from Dubai to Abu Dhabi and from the four corners of Saudi Arabia to Oman, we were looking to strengthen the management team for our next phase of growth. We are delighted to welcome Steven and Damien.”

Founded in 2013, UN!Que Project Solutions previously operated as Dezire Project Consultant. The rebrand – which coincided with the firm’s 10-year anniversary – was formally unveiled yesterday. In 2024, UN!Que Project Solutions plans to launch a new office in Oman.
