Hot on the heels of its rebranding, UK-based digital consultancy firm Goaco has expanded into the Middle East with a new office in Dubai.

London-headquartered Goaco has since its inception around a decade ago grown into a 150-strong IT consultancy supporting clients across five lines of business: IT build and delivery, data science, cloud, cyber security, and software engineering.

This month, Goaco is officially setting up shop in Dubai – its first international office. “We are delighted to launch in the Middle East, and look forward to delivering positive digital transformation and cyber security outcomes for organisations in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia,” said Gaurav Malhotra, Founder and CEO at Goaco.

Malhotra said the move into the region comes in response to “growing demand for our services” and “the proven effectiveness of our human-centric approach to technology.”

Previously operating as Level 5, the company has in the UK built a solid track record in the IT consulting space, both in the public and private sector. Notably, Goaco has delivered multiple engagements with the government positively impacting citizens across departments such as Ministry of Defence, Cabinet Office, Department for Transport, Department for Work and Pensions, Department for Business and Trade, and Ministry of Health.

In the private sector, Goaco has helped clients across sectors, with a focus on mid-sized businesses.

“Our evolution from Level 5 to Goaco reflects our dedication to providing holistic digital solutions on a global scale, whilst maintaining our core values and purpose,” stated Malhotra. In developing the brand, Malhotra said the firm was inspired by bringing together three of its key principles: helping clients move forward (‘go’) with speed and agility (‘a’) and in a collaborative manner (‘co’).

“Rest assured, while Goaco is a new name and brand, it’s a continued promise of excellence and innovation,” he added.

In Dubai, Goaco is based in an office in the Sheikh Rashid Tower. Recruitment for the local team is well underway, with over a dozen open roles currently advertised online. “We have already kicked off our first projects in the region.”

Looking ahead, “we have aggressive growth plans for the future, with additional announcements slated for the coming months”, Malhotra concluded.
