Nisum expands into the Middle East with iVolve partnership
American technology consultancy Nisum has expanded into the Middle East though a partnership with local player iVolve, which has regional offices in Dubai, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia.
Founded in 2002, Nisum is a consulting firm that helps clients with a range of technology, digital transformation, and software engineering services. Having expanded across the United States, Latin America, and Asia Pacific, the 1,700-strong company is now opening for business in the Middle East.
Nisum is doing so through a strategic partnership with iVolve, a boutique regional player that specialises in systems implementation, cloud engineering, and IT managed services. Founded in 2016, iVolve currently employs around 40 staff across its offices in the Middle East and Pakistan.
“This partnership will help us expand our services into the high growth Middle East and Saudi Arabian markets,” said Imtiaz Mohammady, Founder and CEO of Nisum. “The region’s growth and economic potential means that there is strong demand for technology solutions. At Nisum, we have a demonstrated track record of being the partner of choice.”
Mohammady added that the Middle East will serve as a “strategic location” for the firm, bridging its strong presence in North America (mainly US) with Asia (mainly Pakistan and India where Nisum has a large offshore delivery team). “The Middle East serves as a crossroads connecting our global operations, and as a gateway for further regional expansion.”
According to a company statement, Nisum’s Pakistan office in Karachi will steward the fresh alliance. Salman Kassim Mohammady, Pakistan Country Head at Nisum, said: “iVolve’s established regional footprint and offices in the UAE and KSA align seamlessly with Nisum’s goals, fostering collaboration and innovation tailored to local needs.”
Meanwhile, for iVolve, the joining of forces will enable the firm to widen its portfolio of clients and beef up its offerings with the broader skillset of Nisum.
“We’re thrilled to announce our strategic partnership with Nisum,” said Amin Ali Amin, Co-Founder and Managing Director of iVolve. “This collaboration propels us to provide clients with cutting-edge technology to deliver business applications, amplified software development services, and the unmatched expertise of Nisum’s seasoned architect team.”
Clients iVolve work with in the region include prominent entities in financial services, telecommunication, technology, government, and media.
