KPMG's Qatari consulting team wins digital transformation award
KPMG’s consulting team in Qatar has landed an award for its track record in digital transformation, adding to the firm’s roster of recognitions in the field bagged over the years.
At the International Finance Awards, held in Dubai, the award for ‘Best Digital Transformation Corporate Advisory Firm’ went to KPMG, based on a jury verdict that assessed the accomplishments of companies battling for the award.
Led by its consulting practice, KPMG’s digital transformation offering spans the entire lifecycle of services, from digital strategy and IT design, through to the build of solutions and delivery of technology projects. KPMG also has a manged services business across a number of its technology alliances.
The award was handed specifically to KPMG’s team in Qatar, which has been around since 1977 and today counts over 350 professionals.
“We are thrilled to receive this achievement, which reflects our ongoing commitment to excellence, innovation, and impactful partnerships,” said Ahmed Abu-Sharkh, Country Senior Partner at KPMG in Qatar. “Our team's efforts in integrating advanced digital technologies into our advisory services have been key to our success, and this recognition reaffirms our commitment to excellence.”
According to Abu-Sharkh, KPMG’s Qatari consulting team has been at the forefront of digital transformation for years, with its work contributing to the digital pillar of Qatar National Vision 2030. KPMG has helped a countless number of public and private sector with advancing their digital agenda, and embracing emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, and cloud computing.
“Our digital transformation services are designed to meet the evolving needs of clients, enabling them to thrive in the digital age, and to drive positive change and contribute to the advancement of Qatar's business landscape,” stated Abu-Sharkh.
The prize adds to KPMG’s long running series of digital transformation awards. Last year, the firm was named one of the Middle East’s top consulting firms for digital services, and analyst firms including Forrester and IDC have positioned the firm in their top quadrants for digital-related offerings.
Alongside digital consulting, KPMG also supports clients with audit, accounting, tax, and management consulting services, among others.
