Xebia launches new office in Riyadh, 2nd in Middle East
Global IT consultancy Xebia has launched a new office in Riyadh, the firm’s second in the Middle East.
Marking its entry in the Saudi market, Xebia’s latest office is located at AstroLabs, a technology hub and ecosystem in Riyadh’s booming Al Malqa district. The new office is the 28th worldwide for the Dutch-origin consulting group.
“Our expansion into Saudi Arabia marks a significant milestone in Xebia’s global growth strategy and our commitment to leading technological momentum,” said Anand Sahay, CEO of Xebia.
Sahay added that the firm’s expansion could not have come at a timelier moment. “Saudi Arabia is rapidly transforming into a technology hub, propelled by visionary initiatives and a robust digital transformation agenda. Establishing a presence in Saudi Arabia is a strategic move aligned with the Kingdom’s digital vision.”
Xebia is however not new to the Saudi market. From its base in the UAE, the consulting firm has already been actively engaged on the ground through a number of local projects. “These early engagements provided us with a solid grasp of the unique needs of the Saudi market,” commented Brijesh Kohli, a Vice President at Xebia in the Middle East.
One of those clients is Takamol, which is working with Xebia on the upskilling of (young) professionals across cutting-edge technologies nationwide. “Skill development is a key priority of Saudi Arabia’s digital transformation. Xebia is proud to have this association with Takamol, and bring our innovative technology training and certification programs to build a more skilled workforce in the country,” Kohli said.
The news comes shortly after Xebia launched a new Americas headquarters in Atlanta, as part of a major expansion drive in the US market. Headquartered in the Netherlands, Xebia is backed by a private equity group.
