Roland Berger promotes Elias Aad to senior partner
Roland Berger has promoted Elias Aad, the current Middle East Head of its Digital & Entrepreneurship practice, to Senior Partner during the latest Partner Leadership Meeting.
Since re-joining Roland Berger in the second quarter of 2022, Elias has driven the practice’s growth by rapidly scaling the team, the offerings, and the business.
“Elias’s promotion to Senior Partner is a recognition of his unparalleled commitment, expertise, achievements, and ability to deliver digital projects across all industries,” said Santiago Castillo, Managing Partner Middle East at Roland Berger.
Elias defined the Digital practice’s differentiated strategy and service, crafted along the digital economy value chain. The offering stems from a deep and comprehensive understanding of the client’s needs and emerging tech trends. It ranges from setting up entrepreneurship strategies, advising scale-ups and funds on venture capital matters to digitally transforming and disrupting corporates via venture building.
The practice has heightened its expertise in artificial intelligence, web3, metaverse, fintech, digital assets, gaming, and technology implementation via RBN3XT, Roland Berger’s tech arm. The team focuses on practical strategies, seamless implementation, and comprehensive guidance.
“With Elias’s promotion, we will continue to step-up and deliver innovative digital, tech, and data services that meet the evolving needs of our clients and the broader digital landscape,” said Hani Tohme, Managing Partner of Roland Berger in the Middle East.
The demand for digital solutions in the Middle East has steadily increased as governments, companies, and start-ups seek to capitalize on emerging technologies and create competitive advantages. With Elias as the lead, the Digital & Entrepreneurship practice is well-positioned to meet this demand and provide cutting-edge digital consulting services to clients across various sectors, including finance, healthcare, energy, and sustainability.
“I am honored to have been enthused to further scale the Digital & Entrepreneurship practice in the Middle East. There is no better place to be today than this region, given the digital disruption and transformation that it is undergoing. I am confident that together with the exceptional team of talent at Roland Berger, we will help our clients to embrace digital transformation, drive innovation, and achieve sustainable growth as the go-to advisors for all matters related to the digital economy,” said Elias.
Late last year, Elias relocated to the Saudi office of Roland Berger, which is based in the King Abdullah Financial District.
