Bernie Saker Joins AHR Group as Corporate Governance Director
AHR Group, a professional services firm focused on financial expatriate services, has expanded its senior team with Bernie Saker.
Based in Dubai, Bernie Saker has been appointed as Corporate Governance Director, tasked with further strengthening the firm’s corporate governance structure for its client services and internal practices.
Her remit will Saker oversee the governance processes for the Middle East, as well as for the firm’s other offices – stretching from Australia to the United States.
Founded in 2013, AHR Group advises the mobility teams of corporate clients and individual expats on financial, tax, and estate planning services. The firm serves over 4,000 clients worldwide.
“Bernie's expertise in corporate governance is an invaluable addition. Her role will provide our clients with the assurance of dealing with a firm that prioritises robust governance practices,” said William Burrows, Managing Director at AHR Group.

Saker brings over 30 years of experience to the role. She joins from iPensions Group in Dubai, where she was Group Head of Sales, with responsibility for business development and building relationships with intermediaries across the globe. Before that, she spent six years at Momentum Pensions in a Business Development role.
Earlier in her career, she gained experience in the financial services industry, covering all aspects of private banking and fund distribution. She holds numerous qualifications, including IAC, CEFA, CEMAP and Islamic Finance.
