ELLVEE wins advisory project for inaugural MotoGP in Kazakhstan

Middle East sports advisory firm ELLVEE has expanded its client base into Kazakhstan, providing commercial advisory support to the leadership of the host promoter of the inaugural MotoGP Grand Prix of Kazakhstan.

The Grand Prix of Kazakhstan will be held at Sokol Race Track, the state-of-the-art facility outside of Almaty for the first time between the 14th and 16th June, as the first race in a long-term partnership with Dorna Sports, the rights holder of MotoGP. 

With close to 500 million fans globally, MotoGP is the second biggest motorsport in the world, behind just Formula 1.

The Grand Prix will be broadcast in over 200 countries and reach millions of homes worldwide, offering Kazakhstan a major platform to showcase Almaty and the country to the world, helping to achieve national objectives of generating tourism, economic and social impact.

Commenting on the marquee project, Sam Hollis, the Founder and CEO of ELLVEE, said: “We specialise in helping to bring together international rights holders and local hosts to stage new sports events in new markets, with a particular focus on the Middle East. Over the past years, Almaty has become an increasingly common fixture on the agenda of major sporting events including in Formula One, tennis, badminton, wrestling and more, signalling Kazakhstan’s intent to establish the nation as a home for future major sporting events.
