Asia Pacific focused professional services firm Acclime has formally entered the UAE market through an office in Dubai, doubling down on its market entry through the acquisition of local player MeiPro Corporate Services.

Founded in 2019, Acclime is an Asia-focused provider of corporate services. Its key focus is on helping businesses launch and settle in new markets, offering services geared at market entry (advisory, partner search) and formation setup (registration, licences, etc).

Once companies are up and running, Acclime provides services around accounting, tax, audit, human resources outsourcing, as well as advisory, including management consulting, mergers & acquisitions, restructuring, forensics, and change management.

Acclime ramps up UAE presence with local acquisition

In a statement, Acclime has announced its formal entry into the UAE through the acquisition of MeiPro Corporate Services.

However, the region is not new to Acclime – the firm has been serving clients in the UAE since 2022, following its acquisition of OCRA, which had a team in Dubai as part of a wider Indian Ocean geographical division.

Dubai-based MeiPro Corporate Services is an established corporate services provider with a track record of assisting clients with setting up and managing their businesses in the UAE. The company has now rebranded as Acclime.

Acclime’s regional arm offers a suite of services, including assistance with company incorporation in UAE-free zones, mainland, and offshore jurisdictions. The consulting firm also provides ongoing services such as accounting, tax compliance, and payroll services for UAE entities, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements across the UAE.

“We are delighted to be entering the UAE,” said Izzy Silva, Chief Executive Officer of Acclime. “This expansion allows us to service multinational and regional companies looking to establish and manage their operations within the UAE.”

Meanwhile, Rajiv Kumar Singh has been brought on board to lead the Middle East business, based out of Dubai. He brings over two decades of experience in business expansion, mergers and acquisitions, and business development across the Middle East, North Africa region to the role.

He spent the past decade with Vistra, where he most recently led the Middle East and Indian Subcontinent region. Before joining the corporate services industry, Singh held various positions with banking groups including Credit Suisse, ICICI Bank and United Bank.

“The UAE, with its dynamic business environment, presents a tremendous opportunity for Acclime to provide tech-enabled solutions and support clients in their expansion and compliance needs,” said Rajiv. “I am thrilled to join the Acclime team and lead our growth across multiple markets and service lines in the Middle East.”
