Sia Partners expands Qatar presence to support Vision 2030 agenda
Building on its longstanding track record in Qatar, Sia Partners has announced plans for further expansion in the emirate.
A global consulting firm with over 3,000 staff worldwide, Sia Partners is a leading player in the region’s landscape, operating with offices in Abu Dhabi, Doha, and Riyadh.
Murat Bosnak, leader of the Qatar office, said the firm has already for a while been seeing heightened demand in the Qatari market, driven by the emirate’s economic diversification strategy and focus on digital transformation in alignment with Qatar Vision 2030.
Initially launched in 2008, Qatar Vision 2030 has unleashed a massive socio-economic and societal transformation agenda, fuelled by an aggregate $200 billion budget – making it one of the most lavish transformations enacted by any country in the past two decades.
“Having been in business in Doha since 2012, as a firm we’ve witnessed the astronomical growth and development of Qatar from the early beginnings,” said Bosnak.
Operating at the forefront of the consulting world, Sia Partners is proud to have played its part in supporting key pillars of change and innovation. Among the projects the firm has worked on include helping the government and private sector with strategy formulation, efficient governance, innovation, and digital transformation.
Strengthening its offering
As Qatar gears up for the next phase driven by its National Vision 2030, demand for expert counsel and support is on the rise, opening up opportunities for consultants. "Our office in Qatar has traditionally focused on energy clients, but after the World Cup, we are seeing increasing demand driven by government innovation and service transformation,” said Carlos Guevara, the partner responsible for the Qatari market at Sia Partners.
In response, Sia Partners has strengthened several parts of its business, such as its Government practice. The firm is also in Qatar deploying its capabilities around in-demand fields of work such as intelligent automation and generative artificial Intelligence.
Sia Partners is further extending its suite of innovative programs that help Qatari organizations foster creativity and embrace innovation mindsets. These include the Executive Program in Strategy and Innovation, designed to equip professionals with strategic approaches to problem-solving and organizational transformation; and Innovation Management, a course that supports the upskilling of innovation capacities of leaders and managers.
The programs are run in conjunction with the Global Innovation Management Institute (GIMI), a global think tank for innovation best practices, and serves the needs of individuals, departments, and organizations.
“We are proud of our longstanding heritage in the Qatari market and are excited by the transformation that lies ahead. We aim to contribute to the nation’s vision for a diversified and innovative economy, and as a global and regional leader in consulting, we are well positioned to make the happen,” said Guevara.
Headquartered in France, with four offices in the Middle East, Sia Partners positions itself as a “next-generation management consulting firm that focuses on delivering superior value and tangible results” to its clients worldwide. The firm’s expertise spans over 30 sectors, including in strategy, business transformation, IT, digital strategy, and data science.
