Knight Frank adds veteran Ian Sinclair to Saudi partner team
Knight Frank has expanded its partner team in Saudi Arabia with industry veteran Ian Sinclair.
Appointed as Head of Projects & Development Services, Ian Sinclair has over 40 years of experience in the construction and project development sector, including a dozen years in the GCC region.
During his long career at companies such as Egis, AECOM, Faithful+Gould and WSP, Sinclair has worked on projects with an aggregate value of over $50 billion. His expertise spans architecture, design, construction, and project management.
Career highlights include leadership roles in public-private partnership projects such as Health and Custodial PFI, NHS LIFT, and Building Schools for the Future. In the Middle East, Sinclair has contributed to several landmark construction projects, including Neom and Diriyah Gate Development Authority.
Commenting on his new challenge at Knight Frank, Sinclair said: “I am delighted to lead the Project & Development Services in Saudi Arabia. My team and I have a vision of how we will deliver the best project management consultancy services in the region.”
“The goal is to build a unique, niche service offering, leverage our collective expertise and the incredible Knight Frank brand, build upon our strong client relationships, and positively disrupt the market, assuring delivery of impactful projects that contribute to the Kingdom's development goals and realisation of Vision 2030.”
Mohamed Nabil, Regional Partner at Knight Frank and Head of Project & Development Services for MENA, stated: “The addition of Ian demonstrates our commitment to enhancing our capabilities and delivering exceptional service to our clients in Saudi Arabia.”
The appointment comes at a time of a massive project delivery agenda in Saudi Arabia, and hot on the heels of Knight Frank installing Susan Amawi as its General Manager for KSA.
