Haitham Samman joins PwC as Director for Impact & Development

Big Four firm PwC has appointed Haitham Samman as regional Director for Impact & Development.

In his new role, Haitham Samman will focus on driving impactful people initiatives within the firm across its offices in 12 countries, ensuring alignment with PwC’s mission for corporate social responsibility and its own employee value proposition.

“My mission is to digitally transform the workforce to be future-ready, leveraging digital marketing tactics, data analytics, and neuroscience. I shift the behavior of the workforce, accelerate their skills depth, and spearhead the adoption of culture programs,” Samman explained.

Samman brings over 23 years of experience in human resources and organization development to the role, gained in the world of consulting and in industry. Most recently, he served as Global Head of Change Management & Digital Experience at IBM, where he led the organizational change management strategy for IBM’s talent priorities.

During his eight years at IBM, Samman served in various roles that contributed to the transformation of the company’s learning & talent experience. Earlier in his career, he worked for multinationals Qatar Airways, Alcatel-Lucent, and Vodafone, among others.
