Egypt’s IDA taps Elm’s consulting business for strategic project

The Industrial Development Authority (IDA) in Egypt has selected Elm to deliver a strategic project focused on improving its internal operations and enhancing the experience offered to investors in the industrial sector.

Based out of Cairo, IDA is the authority responsible for implementing the industrial policies set by Egypt’s Ministry of Trade and Industry to stimulate and encourage investments in the industrial sector, develop and implement land development policies for industrial purposes, make them available to investors, and facilitate and simplify procedures for obtaining industrial licenses.

Working together with Elm, a Saudi-headquartered provider of advisory and digital services, IDA will streamline its procedures and processes to improve efficiency and achieve operational excellence. IDA will also implement advanced digital solutions and adopt data-driven ways of working,

Elm’s project team will be led by the Professional Service division – its management and digital consulting business.
