Khalid Alruwaysan joins KPMG’s Advisory partnership in Saudi Arabia

KPMG has strengthened its Advisory team in Saudi Arabia with Khalid Alruwaysan.

Appointed a partner in the Performance Improvement Advisory practice, Khalid Alruwaysan brings 18 years of experience to the Big Four firm, gained in management consulting and industry.

At KPMG, Alruwaysan will support large business transformation and operational excellence engagements, across various industries including government and the broader public sector, as well as defense and security. His areas of expertise include operational excellence, Kaizen, spending efficiency, strategy, and transformation.

“I am excited to join KPMG and contribute to the growth of the firm’s Performance Improvement practice,” he said. “I look forward to leveraging my experience to help clients navigate complex challenges, drive operational excellence, and achieve their strategic objectives.”

Alruwaysan joins from KAFAA Efficiency Excellence, a local Saudi operations consultancy, where he served as a leader in its Riyadh office. Earlier in his career, he had a former spell at KAFAA Efficiency Excellence, and served Elixir Management Consultancy (which is part of McKinsey & Company), and Kaizen Institute, where he led the firm’s Saudi business.

During his time in KSA’s public sector, Alruwaysan held several C-Suite roles, including serving as Strategy Advisor to the Ministry of Tourism, and as Deputy Minister for Shared Services within the Ministry of Media. He worked of multiple projects that are part of the nation’s Vision 2030 agenda.
