BrazilDutch high-tech consultancy TMC launches in Saudi Arabia
Netherlands headquartered high-tech consultancy TMC has launched a new office in Saudi Arabia, its second in the GCC region.
Headquartered in the city of Eindhoven, TMC is an engineering and technology consulting company dedicated to the high-tech segment. The firm’s 2,700 staff worldwide (mainly in Europe) serve diverse industries such as technology, semiconductors, IT services, energy and renewables, and life sciences.
After entering the Middle East last year through an office in Dubai, TMC has now expanded into Saudi Arabia too with a similar ambition – becoming the country’s go-to consultant for high-tech work.
Mohamed Jawad, who spearheaded the launch into Dubai last year, has also been made responsible for the foray into Saudi. “This is a key move for the group and an exciting step forward,” he said.
“The Kingdom is currently in the top 20 largest economies in the world. It is undertaking numerous high-value projects, many exceeding $5 billion in scope. The plan includes building highly modern cities and infrastructure, and investing in engineering, healthcare, construction, renewable energy, and digital transformations. This demands technical, engineering and construction expertise.”
“With our unique engagement model, niche expertise, and global and regional network of highly skilled subject matter experts, we are well positioned to contribute to Saudi’s growth ambition,” Jawad continued.
With the two offices in the GCC now operational, Jawad said that the consulting firm is aiming to “create a strong brand identity” for TMC in the Middle East. “At the moment we are already helping some of the largest banking, finance, insurance and governmental organisations in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar and the UAE with our technology and engineering services.”
From Riyadh to Mexico City
Meanwhile, outside of the region, TMC recently established a new office in Mexico, which will become an important nearshore hub for the firm’s clients in North America.
Emmanuel Mottrie, CEO of TMC Group, stated: “With the opening of our Saudi Arabian and Mexican offices, TMC is now present in 16 countries globally. Being established in these regions is essential to achieving our mission to grow to 10.000 employees globally by 2030.”
