Amrop, a human capital advisory and recruitment business headquartered in Europe, has launched a new office in Dubai, its first in the UAE and third in the Middle East.

The new office, located on Sheikh Zayed Road, represents an important milestone for the company in the Middle East, said Annika Farin, Chair of Amrop. While the firm has been conducting business for years in Saudi Arabia, Amrop will now use its Dubai office as a stepping stone for the UAE market, a region where demand for leadership advisory and executive search services is on the rise.

“Our new presence in Dubai will allow us to tap into the rich market potential of the Middle East and illustrates our dedication to being part of the vibrant future of the UAE. Dubai is a hub for hospitality, financial services, infrastructure, logistics & transportation, healthcare and other key sectors matching our own expertise. Positioning ourselves in this dynamic environment will enhance our ability to offer Amrop’s suite of solutions more effectively to our regional clientele.”

Headquartered in Belgium, Amrop has offices in 55 countries, with Dubai becoming its 69th overall. The firm competes with counterparts including Korn Ferry, Egon Zehnder, Russell Reynolds Associates, Heidrick & Struggles, homegrown players such as Cooper Fitch, and others.

Amrop’s fresh Dubai office will be led by Mansour Abdulghaffar, who has been appointed as managing partner and will report to the Saudi leadership team, which operates with offices in Jeddah and Riyadh.

“Over the last decade, we have built and positioned Amrop in the Saudi market as a premium, retained leadership advisory and executive search firm,” said Abdulghaffar. “We are excited about our next chapter and to bringing more value to the region by expanding our presence to the UAE. Our approach will continue to be quality-driven, high-touch and truly global, whilst maintaining our strategic advantage of being regionally based.”
