María Quintero (HVS) wins global award for excellence in hospitality consulting

María Quintero, a UAE-based member of HVS, has won an international award for her excellence and achievements in the world of hospitality consulting.

The so-called ‘Lori Raleigh Award for Emerging Excellence in Hospitality Consulting’ was launched in 2015 and honors young professionals who have demonstrated early career success and leadership qualities within the field of hospitality consulting. The award is organized by the International Society of Hospitality Consultants, and named in honor of Lori Raleigh, a long time executive at the society who served as an influential mentor of emerging talent.

The 9th winner of the award is María Quintero, who currently is an Associate Director at HVS, an international hospitality-focused consulting firm. In her role at HVS, she has been involved in numerable financial studies including complex feasibility projects, re-development plans, appraisals and strategic advisory for hotels and resorts of all asset types.

Her expertise includes wellness-oriented havens, luxury prime assets and hospitality-driven mixed-use developments, with her clients spanning owners, lenders, and investors.

Prior to joining HVS in 2021, Quintero worked in luxury hotel management in UAE and Qatar. She also gained experience in business consulting in Colombia.
