ECOVIS Al Sabti appoints Mohsin Ahmed as Executive Director and Leader of Energy sector
ECOVIS Al Sabti has strengthened its senior leadership team with Mohsin Ahmed, who joins the firm as Executive Director and Leader of its Energy sector practice.
The newly hired leader brings with him over 20 years of experience in business advisory, risk, internal audit, cybersecurity, data, and digital transformation to the firm, gained in the Middle East and beyond.
Throughout his career, Ahmed has led major and high-impact initiatives across Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bahrain, and Canada, working with leading global firms (including EY and PwC) for 18 years. His track record spans projects aimed at driving digital transformation, regulatory compliance, and enterprise resilience, and spans multiple sectors, such as financial services, energy, consumer goods, and telecom sectors.
Over the past decade, Ahmed gained a strong focus on the energy sector, and building on that experience, ECOVIS Al Sabti has installed him at the helm of its Energy practice. Among other engagements in the landscape, Ahmed has supported industry giants such as Aramco and its joint ventures, SABIC and its joint ventures, Adnoc, DEWA, SWCC, NWC, Saudi Electric, and others with transformational work.
This includes transformations around data (management, analytics, privacy), internal audit, enterprise architecture, and artificial intelligence. Leveraging frameworks like NIST, COBIT, and ISO, he has also provided energy groups with solutions that enhance their digital and operational security and resilience.
