Simon-Kucher welcomes Roshel Jayasundera as partner in Dubai
Simon-Kucher has welcomed a new partner to its team in Dubai: Roshel Jayasundera.
Coming on board with around two decades of experience, Roshel Jayasundera becomes a member of the firm’s Healthcare and Life Sciences division. She specialises in commercial strategy, pricing, and healthcare transformation, and has during her career worked with pharmaceutical and biotech companies across Europe, the Middle East and emerging markets.
Prior to Simon-Kucher, Jayasundera was Managing Partner and Board Member at Axios International, a European company that helps the pharma and healthcare sector improve access for patients. Previously, she led the company’s consulting business. Before that, she held senior roles in the UAE’s health care sector, and worked as a consultant.
Commenting on her move to Simon-Kucher, she said: “Simon-Kucher’s global reach and focus on creating long-term value in emerging markets align perfectly with my vision of building sustainable healthcare solutions that positively impact patients and drive growth. I look forward to working with our clients to address access challenges and drive transformational change in healthcare systems worldwide.”
Headquartered in Germany, Simon-Kucher is a global consultancy firm focused on commercial strategy, growth, sales & marketing, and pricing. The firm’s 2,000 employees work across sectors.
Marc Matar, Partner and Head of Healthcare & Life Sciences for the Middle East and Asia, said that Jayasundera’s arrival will in particular boost the Healthcare and Life Sciences division in the region. “Her leadership will further our impact as a trusted advisor across emerging markets.”
The appointment continues the growth of Simon-Kucher’s leadership team in the region, following the hire of several new partners in Dubai and Riyadh earlier this year.
