L.E.K. Consulting continues GCC expansion with new offices in Dubai and Manama

Global strategy firm L.E.K. Consulting is continuing its expansion across the Middle East with the launch of two new offices. The new hubs in the UAE and Bahrain lift its office footprint in the region to four, and worldwide to twenty-five.

Founded in 1983, L.E.K Consulting has since its inception grown into one of the leading players in the strategy & operations segment of the consulting landscape. In recent years, the firm has seen demand for its services in the Middle East rise drastically, prompting the launch of its first regional base in Abu Dhabi two years ago.

Earlier this year, the firm established a second office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and this month, the US-headquartered group formally completed the launch of two new hubs in Dubai and Manama.

The Riyadh office focuses on serving clients across financial services, healthcare, education and transportation. Notable recent engagement include helping the government with the development of a strategy to attract private investment to the local education landscape. “We have also supported numerous private education providers with market entry or expansion strategies in the region,” said Danish Faruqui, General Manager of the Riyadh team.

The new Dubai and Manama offices meanwhile have a particular concentration on the financial services sector, serving banks, insurers, asset managers, wealth funds, and regulators, among others.
