Wataniah taps Jadarah for strategic and organizational transformation

Wataniah Business Group, a Saudi-based conglomerate, has brought Jadarah on board to guide a new strategic transformation program that spans its three subsidiaries.
Headquartered in Riyadh, Wataniah Business Group is a company that offers a range of services and solutions to clients in Saudi Arabia and Egypt, provided by its different labels. The Group comprises three subsidiaries: Wataniah Business Real Estate, National Security System, and SAS Hotels & Resorts. The group operates across six key industries: real estate, construction, operational maintenance, hotels, security systems, and telematics.
Wataniah also has a strong portfolio of technology solutions and products, focused on a diverse client base from different sectors.
With the aim to further improve the market position of three of its subsidiaries, Wataniah Business Group has launched a strategic review program. To guide the company’s leaders through the strategy development process, the Saudi company has brought management consultants from Jadarah Business Consulting on board.
The project will involve joint teams working together to craft a new corporate strategy. This will begin with an assessment of the current competitiveness and market situation of the three units, using the findings to develop a future-proof strategy.
Building on that groundwork, leaders from Wataniah and Jadarah’s experts will look into the organizational blueprint of the subsidiaries, analyzing the efficiency of processes and workflows, and evaluating the state of technologies. That exercise will lead into a portfolio of transformation and performance improvement initiatives, underpinned by a roadmap for the execution phase.
The 18-week strategic and organizational transformation project kicked off late 2024 and is expected to be completed early Q2 2025, when the project team will present the key findings to Wataniah’s board of management.
