The 2025 edition of the CAE Conference will kick off next week, bringing together audit leaders and professionals from around the Gulf region to discuss the momentous impact of AI in the profession.

From April 22nd to 24th, 2025, the CAE Conference 2025 will take place at JW Marriott Marina Hotel in Dubai. This year’s theme, ‘Driving Audit Success with AI’, will explore how artificial intelligence is revolutionizing internal audit, as well as adjacent areas such as risk management, controls and governance.

The conference, which provides audit professionals with 20+ CPE Credits, is designed for decision-makers and experts in audit, including Chief Audit Executives, Heads of Internal Audit, Directors, Senior Managers, Audit Board Committee Members, and professionals in audit, risk, compliance, and governance.

The event will see several leaders from the industry share their experiences and knowhow, including Shantosh Sridhar, the CEO of Aurex, who will deliver a keynote titled ‘Surviving in an Agentic AI Auditing World’. The keynote will shed light on the transformative – and disruptive – impact of autonomous AI systems (also known as Agentic AI) on the auditing and compliance domain.

In the run-up to the keynote, Sridhar said: “Agentic AI offers unprecedented benefits, but also introduces complexities. As AI evolves beyond static models into dynamic, self-directed agents, traditional audit frameworks are struggling to keep pace.”

In his keynote, Sridhar will explore how organizations can future proof their auditing practices in this new paradigm, leveraging Aurex’s expertise in AI risk management and governance.

Aurex provides a platform that supports organizations with professionalizing and automating their governance, risk assessment, and compliance. The company is a subsidiary of consulting firm Beinex.
