Simon-Kucher appoints Tunc Akyurt as partner in Istanbul office

Global commercial growth and pricing consultancy Simon-Kucher has appointed Tunc Akyurt as a partner in its Istanbul office.
Installed at the helm of the Financial Services practice in Turkey, Tunc Akyurt will leverage his 20+ years of experience in banking, fintech, insurance, and wealth management to help Simon-Kucher expand its presence in the industry.
Akyurt brings broad international experience, having worked across Turkey, the US, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. He has advised both global and local clients on customer, product, and market strategies, as well as pricing, commercial strategy, and revenue management.
Most recently, Akyurt held C-level roles such as Group Head of Retail Banking, Chief Strategy Officer, and CEO Advisor at financial services institutions. In his roles, he held responsibilities in strategy, marketing, customer relationship marketing, product development, innovation, and digital transformation.
His consulting background includes managing complex, multi-regional projects and holding senior leadership positions, including at TTEC Digital where he was the Managing Partner of its Financial Services industry vertical. He also spent three years at McKinsey & Company earlier in his career.
