Kearney strengthens UAE leadership team with high-profile hire Adel Alfalasi
Global strategy and management consulting firm Kearney has made a high-profile hire in the UAE, bringing in Adel Alfalasi as a Partner and Managing Director.
With 25 years of experience, including at McKinsey & Company, the Prime Minister’s Office of the UAE, and most recently Oliver Wyman, Adel Alfalasi brings a distinguished track record in consulting and the government to Kearney.
Throughout his career, he has contributed to major government reforms across the region, from high-impact national initiatives and large-scale transformations to subsidy restructuring and digital government enablement. His expertise spans areas such as national strategy, economic development, institutional reform, and labour market reform.
Alfalasi has also worked on growth strategies for the region’s largest sovereign wealth funds and their portfolio companies.
In his new role, Alfalasi will continue to advise government leaders. A central focus of his mandate will be addressing the growing impact of technology on nations, cities, businesses, and organizations, including emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence ad generative AI.
“Joining Kearney is a natural next step in my commitment to enabling governments in this region to unlock its boldest ambitions through purposeful transformation,” said Alfalasi.
“What excites me most is the opportunity to address the region’s most pressing challenges while driving impact that lasts. I’m inspired by Kearney’s strong regional legacy and proven results, and I look forward to working alongside the team to accelerate meaningful change across the Middle East.”
That legacy he is referring to relates to Kearney’s long heritage and leading position in the Middle East. According to its won records, the firm has been active in the Middle East for nearly a century (Kearney was founded in 1926 in the United States), currently serving the region through its offices in Abu Dhabi, Beirut, Doha, Dubai, Istanbul, and Riyadh.
The firm is recognized as one of the region’s leading strategic consulting firms, and as a top employer for career growth and development.
Commenting on the appointment, Mauricio Zuazua, Region Chair of Kearney for the Middle East and Africa, said: “Adel brings with him a unique mix of integrity, insight, and excellence in the strategic consulting arena for the Middle East. He has an exceptional ability to translate national visions into tangible outcomes and is trusted by both government leaders and C-suite executives to deliver impact first.”
“His appointment strengthens our mission to empower businesses and institutions to lead boldly, anticipate future challenges, and create a legacy across the region.”
