Uniqus launches AI UniVerse to offer end-to-end AI transformation service

International consulting firm Uniqus has launched an AI Consulting practice, with the new arm open for business across the firm’s footprint in the Middle East, the US, and India.

Going to market as ‘AI UniVerse’, the new practice will help the firm’s clients with designing and building AI solutions, and with embedding those solutions in the standing business. The service offering is focused on the key domains served by Uniqus, including Finance, Accounting, Business Intelligence & Reporting, Governance, Risk & Compliance, and ESG.

“AI UniVerse delivers end-to-end AI transformation – starting with foundational readiness, through advanced data intelligence to generative AI-powered knowledge discovery and agentic workflow automation,” explained Abhijit Varma, Global Head of Tech Consulting at Uniqus.

“We also help clients assess their AI environments, implement governance and compliance automation, and provide continuous oversight – ensuring every program is sustainable, secure, and evolves with their business.”

Established in 2023, Uniqus today has offices in 11 cities across the Middle East, the United States, and India, employing more than 550 professionals. The firm, which recently secured its Series C funding, serves over 250 clients, including many big names in the Gulf region, like Al Rajhi Bank, Tawal, Bahri Shipping, Burjeel and SITE.

Jamil Khatri, Co-Founder and CEO of Uniqus, emphasized the results-driven approach of AI UniVerse – a timely focus given growing concerns that many AI investments are failing to deliver on their promised returns. A recent MIT report underscored this challenge, revealing that as many as 95% of AI projects fall short of meeting all expectations.

“With AI UniVerse, we are bridging the gap between AI’s promise and practical outcomes. This gap is particularly wide in the finance and risk functions,” said Khatri.

“Our goal is to help organizations transition from experiments and pilots to deeply embedded AI-powered workflows within the finance, risk, and sustainability functions. By combining our domain expertise, advanced AI engineering talent, and partner ecosystems, we are seeking to enable companies solve real business problems.”

During implementation, Uniqus places strong emphasis on governance and security considerations surrounding AI deployment. “Our offering enables our clients to achieve real business impact while managing AI risks.”

The offering builds on several partnerships that Uniqus has in the space, including with Lyzr, Cognida.ai, Anecdotes, Numeric, Cranium, and Portal26.

According to a report by Bain & Company, the global market for AI products and services is seeing stellar growth, expected to break through the $1 trillion barrier by 2028.
