Andersen Consulting adds collaborating firms in the UAE and Jordan

Andersen Consulting has expanded its presence in the UAE with the addition of two new collaborating firms: IT Security Consulting & Training and Sidat Hyder.

Announced yesterday, the partnership with IT Security Consulting & Training expands Andersen Consulting’s presence in areas such as IT security, governance, risk and compliance, technical testing, managed security services, privacy, resilience, and cybersecurity.

Founded in 2011 by Managing Partner Muntaser Bdair, IT Security Consulting & Training specializes in serving clients in the government, financial, and industrial sectors. The consulting firm is headquartered in Jordan and also supports clients in other parts of the GCC.

“Our mission is to empower organizations to achieve the highest level of information security through practical consulting, advanced training, and tailored security solutions,” said Muntaser. “Becoming a collaborating firm of Andersen Consulting enables us to broaden our impact while maintaining our focus on delivering high-quality services.”

Andersen Consulting was once one of the biggest names in the world of consulting, but after its split from its parent Andersen in 1998 the firm then rebranded to Accenture in 2000. Now, Andersen Consulting is making a comeback and rebuilding its brand and network. Since its formal launch early 2025, the company has added over 20 member firms focused on consulting services in countries around the world.

Another new member firm in the Middle East is Sidat Hyder Morshed Associates (Sidat Hyder), a management consulting and technology services firm from the UAE.

Founded in 1986, Sidat Hyder provides an extensive range of services, including strategy and management consulting, HR consulting, recruitment and outsourcing, and financial consulting. The firm serves a diverse portfolio of clients across sectors such as financial services, energy, manufacturing, telecommunications, and the public sector.

“We have a deep commitment to quality, transparency, and best-in-class service – values that are also engrained in the culture at Andersen Consulting,” said Waqar Hyder, CEO of Sidat Hyder. “As a collaborating firm, we are now a part of a world-class platform that enhances our ability to scale our impact and deliver global, multidisciplinary solutions to our clients.”

Mark Vorsatz, Chairman and CEO of Andersen, stated: “The addition of IT Security Consulting & Training and Sidat Hyder will be an asset to our consulting platform in the Middle East. Together, we’re strengthening the region’s consulting sector by combining deep local insight with global capabilities, helping clients meet today’s challenges in the business landscape.”
