Andersen Consulting strengthens technology offerings with VaporVM
Andersen Consulting has expanded its digital transformation and cybersecurity capabilities with the addition of collaborating firm VaporVM, a technology company headquartered in Dubai.
Founded in 2017, VaporVM helps companies in the Middle East and beyond with a range of technology services, including cloud, enterprise resource planning, DevOps, cybersecurity, data science, and application modernization.
Headquartered in the Middle East, with offices in Dubai and Saudia Arabia, the company also has hubs in India, Pakistan and the US. Across its footprint, VaporVM employs over 300 staff.
“At VaporVM, we are dedicated to helping businesses not only adopt new technologies but also reimagine what’s possible when those technologies are harnessed to drive real transformation,” said Aqeel Asim, CEO and Founder of VaporVM.
Now part of Andersen Consulting, VaporVM will be able to deepen its expertise, tap into the knowhow of other members firms around the world, and grow its cross-border offering to clients.
“Our collaboration with Andersen Consulting allows us to amplify that mission on a global scale – bringing our cloud, cybersecurity, and digital transformation expertise to new markets,” noted Asim.
Re-launched at the start of this year, Andersen Consulting aims to become a $1 billion consulting business by 2028. In the first nine months of 2025, the consulting firm has built strong momentum – establishing a presence in more than 65 countries and growing its team to over 3,000 professionals.
Earlier this year, Andersen Consulting welcomed several other members in the Middle East, including Ventures and Sidat Hyder.
Mark Vorsatz, Chairman and CEO of Andersen, said: “VaporVM’s track record across cybersecurity and technology transformation makes them a valuable extension of our platform. They bring energy, innovation, and technical focus to today’s most pressing digital infrastructure challenges.”
