NorthStar Insights welcomes Nesrine Halima to its senior advisor network
NorthStar Insights has appointed Nesrine Halima as an Advisor to its Government practice. She joins from PwC.
Nesrine Halima is a policy and government affairs expert with over 20 years of experience advising governments, multilateral institutions, and global organisations at the intersection of public policy, strategic foresight, and professional services.
Most recently at PwC, she served as Director in its Clients & Markets team, where she led the firm’s go-to-market strategy to major public sector clients in the Middle East, Europe and Africa region. Earlier, she worked in the firm’s Government & Public Sector practice, contributing to projects across the Gulf in areas such as public-sector transformation, economic development, institutional reform, and performance management.
Halima spent close to a decade at the Big Four accounting and consulting firm, across two spells.
In between, Halima worked on two of the UAE’s most important government-led initiatives: Expo 2020 Dubai and the World Government Summit. In both cases, she was involved from the earliest stages of institution-building, helping to shape the frameworks, partnerships and positioning that contributed to their success.
In her role at NorthStar Insights, Halima will advise on government-facing mandates across the firm’s Foresight, Strategy and Influence divisions.
“Nesrine brings one of the most distinguished careers at the intersection of government advisory, policy foresight, and institutional transformation in the region. We are honoured to have her counsel as NorthStar Insights continues to expand its advisory capability across the region’s most complex and consequential markets,” said Arth Malani, Founder and CEO of NorthStar Insights.
Founded in June 2025, NorthStar Insights advises clients on political risk, strategic communications and government affairs. The firm has operations in MENA and APAC.
Earlier this year, NorthStar Insights also added Ahmed Kamel to its network of affiliated senior advisors.
