Saudi healthcare provider taps Abacus for SAP implementation
Diana Medical, a healthcare services provider in Saudi Arabia, has selected Abacus Cambridge Partners to help it deliver the implementation of a new SAP system.
The consultants have been brought on board to oversee the design, delivery and roll-out of the SAP Business One system, which will enable Diana Medical to manage all its business functions from production, financials, logistics, e-commerce and day to day operations.
Asked why the healthcare company decided to adopt SAP, an all-in-one ERP system, the CEO of Diana Medical Abdullah Hussein Alfifi said, “We chose SAP Business One as it is a reliable and user-friendly ERP system. It holds a solution to our key business challenges and addresses them innovatively. We are confident that we made the right decision to invest in it.”
SAP Business One is SAP’s flagship system for small and medium-sized enterprises. The solution automates and facilitates financials, operations, and human resources, and is available both on premise as well as in the cloud. Once the system is in place, Diana Medical expects to improve its operational efficiencies by gaining a unified view of its business and facilitate business growth through improved financial reporting and control. “The implementation of SAP Business One is the cornerstone of our digital transformation strategy,” said Alfifi.
To oversee the project, Diana Medical selected the Middle East arm of Abacus – a UK-headquartered consulting, technology and outsourcing firm – as lead consultant and systems integrations partner. “We picked Abacus because of its strong market reputation and the way the team demonstrated professionalism and in-depth experience of the market segment.”
A SAP Gold Partner internationally, in the region Abacus has previously helped the likes of Hafilat, LAL Trading, GSL Professional, Al Saeed Group and Tetra Tech with the successful implementation of SAP Business One, and it will now bring its expertise and best practices to Diana Medical’s premises in the Kingdom.
Commenting on the project, Haider Naqvi, Country Director Saudi Arabia at Abacus said: “We’re excited to partner with Diana Medical to lay the foundation for its digital capabilities, enabling it to achieve its business goals.”
In the Middle East, Abacus has offices in Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
